Thank You HaysMed Day!

We live in an incredible community! Thanks to several amazing benefactors, HaysMed Associates enjoyed a special day this past month honoring their hard work and dedication. Our thanks to The Schmidt Foundation, Glassman Corporation (Joe and Linda Glassman), The Hadley Foundation, Gary and Mary Ann Shorman, and Joe and Cheryl Jeter. These people and organizations saw a need to acknowledge the unwavering care given to our community by our HaysMed Associates. May 16 we celebrated with spectacular weather and the opportunity to share some outstanding food prepared by local food truck vendors courtesy of The Schmidt Foundation.

This event was truly a joy to organize because of the spirit of gratitude it brought to everyone here at HaysMed. Our Associates are amazing every day, and it was an honor to be a part of this event recognizing them.

This past fall, The Schmidt Foundation approached Jeff Brull at the HaysMed Foundation with an idea to honor the work of every HaysMed Associate, especially after the past 2 years with COVID. The Schmidt Foundation invited others to join them, and Glassman Corporation, The Hadley Foundation, Gary and MaryAnn Shorman, and Joe and Cheryl Jeter joined the cause. Because of their generosity, “Thank You HaysMed Day” was born. Food trucks were on campus and each Associate was offered a free meal. In addition, all Associates were entered to win a variety of prizes.

We want to thank these donors for this extremely generous gesture! It truly lifted spirits and provided a fellowship opportunity for Associates. It is hard to put into words how grateful we are for the community support shown to HaysMed not just today, but all the time. We may not say thank you enough, but we are so proud to be your healthcare provider.
