Mark Hancock, MD
The Dreiling/Schmidt Cancer Institute welcomes Dr. Hancock. He holds a Doctor of Medicine from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia, a Residency in Internal Medicine at Southwestern Medical School, and a Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Hancock is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
Dr. Hancock has also studied music theory, jazz guitar, French, Spanish and spent several years in Africa with Doctors without Borders.
Matthew Mallory, MD
The Dreiling/Schmidt Cancer Institute welcomes Dr. Mallory. He has a Doctor of Medicine from University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia and completed an Externship in Proton Therapy at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland, an Internship in Internal Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Residency in Radiation Oncology at The University of Kansas Medical Center.
Before going to medical school, Dr. Mallory began his professional career as an Electronic Engineer doing airborne RADAR system design and testing for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, and an Electrical Engineer doing RF communications hardware design and testing.
Hema Pamulapati, MD
The DeBakey Heart Institute welcomes Dr. Pamulapati. She has a Doctor of Medicine from S.V.S. Medical College in India and completed Graduate Education in Clinical Research and Residency at University of Missouri, and a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at The University of Kansas Medical Center.
Dr. Pamulapati is certified in Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiac CT.
Robert Phillips, MD
The DeBakey Heart Institute welcomes Cardiothoracic Surgeon Dr. Phillips. He has a Doctor of Medicine from University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama and completed an Internship and Residency in General Surgery at University of Alabama, a Residency in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at the University of Utah Affiliated Hospitals, and Fellowships in Complex Cardiac and Thoracic Aortic Surgery and Heart and Heart/Lung Transplantation at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Phillips is Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery.
Dr. Phillips is an Eagle Scout and has an MBA.
Kirk Potter, DO
The Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery program welcomes Dr. Potter. He has a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City and completed an Internship, Residency and a Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Potter is Board Certified in Surgery.
Dr. Potter enjoys spending time with family, fishing and bike riding.
Niranjan Seshadri, MD

He has a Doctor of Medicine from Mysore Medical College in India and completed Internships at University of Mysore and Cleveland Clinic, a Residency in Internal Medicine at Cleveland Clinic, a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Cleveland Clinic, and a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Seshadri is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. Seshadri was named the best graduating student at Mysore Medical College.
Parul Singh, MD

Aron Splichal, DO
