New Senior Development Coordinator Julie Rider
Julie Rider has joined the HaysMed Foundation as the new Senior Development Coordinator. She is passionate about healthcare in our region and very familiar with the activities of the Foundation after serving 3 terms on the board in various roles from officer to active committee volunteer. “I’m excited to join the HaysMed Foundation team and contribute to the meaningful work they do to support healthcare in our community,“ said Rider.
Rider was most recently the Executive Director of the Downtown Hays Development Corporation.
HaysMed Graduates Two from Leadership Hays
We are excited to announce that HaysMed Foundation Administrative Coordinator Sara Schulte and HaysMed manager of Professional Development Jana Zeller completed the 2025 Leadership Hays class offered by The Chamber in Hays, Kansas. Schulte and Zeller enjoyed the opportunity to network with other community members who have an interest in strengthening the community and addressing challenges through their time and leadership. In addition to monthly sessions focused on leadership in our community, they also completed the first two stages of the Kansas Leadership Center’s Path to Leadership.
Leadership Hays is committed to improving and strengthening individuals and the Hays community by identifying, inspiring and involving those persons who have displayed a capacity for leadership.
